Winemaking:
Warm, dry season with ideal ripening conditions. Ripe purple fruits with violets. Borenore Malbec in the zone. Harvested at perfect ripeness, gentle maceration, 8 months' élevage in barrel. Perfumed violets and blueberries sing of high-altitude Malbec.

Tasting Notes:
Colour | Impenetrable youthful purple
Bouquet | Black pepper spice and a gorgeous purity of blueberry fruit with background smooth oak.
Palate | Bursting with ripe, spicy, blue fruits. The entry is generous and pure with a supple mid-palate and silky-smooth tannin finish, but with an unmistakable high-altitude energy.

Pairs well with:
Meat | Braised beef short ribs with cocoa-red wine glaze and creamy polenta.
Seafood | Grilled octopus with smoked paprika oil and charred lemon.
Vegetarian | Roasted portobello caps with goat cheese and balsamic-thyme glaze.
Vegan | Spicy black bean and sweet potato enchiladas with mole sauce.
Cheese | Aged gouda with spiced plum chutney and cracked pepper crackers.

When does the Sale start and finish?

The Sale starts at 10:00am AEDT on Friday, 30 October 2026 and ends at 10:00am AEDT on Sunday, 1 November 2026. 

That’s 48% off for 48 hours. 
What is the offer?

Everything available for purchase during the Sale is 48% off RRP. 

Online prices will be as marked, so there’s no discount code to enter and no additional discount applied in your cart.
Is the Sale online only?

No. Sale pricing is available:

Some very special or limited-quantity products may be temporarily unavailable during the Sale Period.
Can products sell out?

Absolutely. Stock available for the Sale is strictly limited, and some products may sell out quickly. 

We may also limit quantities of selected products to give more customers an opportunity to purchase. 

There are no rainchecks.
If something is in my cart, is it reserved?

No. Adding an item to your cart does not reserve stock. 

Your products are only secured once your order has been successfully completed.
Can I use my Member Tier Discount as well?

No. Member Tier Discounts do not apply during the Sale, and the 48% Sale price cannot be combined with other discount codes or promotional offers. 

However, eligible purchases made during the Sale will still count towards your membership spend balance, helping you maintain or elevate your Member Tier.

Do Sale purchases count towards my Member Tier?

Yes. 

Eligible spend during the Sale counts towards the spend balance used to maintain or elevate your Member Tier, even though your usual Member Tier Discount does not apply to the Sale price.

Can I use a Tamburlaine gift card?

Yes. Existing Tamburlaine gift cards can be used as payment during the Sale. 

However, new gift cards will not be available to purchase during the 48-hour Sale.
Can I start a subscription at the Sale price?

No. The 48% Sale price does not apply to new or existing subscriptions. 

Subscriptions and memberships cannot be started, stopped, paused or changed online during the Sale Period. 

If you’re an existing subscriber and need to make a change, please contact our team by phone or email and we can assist you. Normal subscription pricing and terms will apply.
What happens to my existing subscription during the Sale?

Your subscription continues under its normal subscription pricing and terms. 

48 Hour Sale pricing will not be applied to subscription orders processed during the Sale.
Can I use another discount code?

No. The 48% Sale price cannot be combined with Member Tier Discounts, discount codes or other promotional offers unless we specifically say otherwise.

If you’re having any trouble submitting your order online, or you’d otherwise like to speak to someone, please feel free to call us. If we’re unavailable, please leave a message or send an email within the sale window and we’ll call you back when we’re back in the office and will happily honour the sale pricing for you.
Is there free shipping?

Our usual shipping thresholds apply. 

You’ll receive free standard shipping on eligible Australian deliveries when your order contains: 

  • 12 or more bottles of wine, or  
  • 3 or more 700mL bottles of spirits; or 
  • 6 or more 200mL bottles of spirits.  

Standard shipping charges apply where these thresholds are not met.
Will delivery take longer during the Sale?

It may. 

The 48 Hour Sale is one of our busiest events of the year, so dispatch and delivery may take a little longer than usual. Our team will be working hard to get orders on their way as quickly as possible.
Can I get the Sale price on an order I placed before the Sale?

No. Sale pricing applies only to purchases completed between 10:00am AEDT Friday, 30 October and 10:00am AEDT Sunday, 1 November 2026. 

We cannot retroactively apply the Sale discount to purchases made before the Sale begins.
What if I leave items in my cart until after 10:00am Sunday?

The Sale finishes at 10:00am AEDT on Sunday, 1 November 2026. 

Items added to your cart during the Sale do not lock in the Sale price. Your order must be completed before the Sale ends to receive the 48% discount.
Is there a minimum purchase?

No. There is no minimum purchase required to access the 48% discount, although normal shipping thresholds still apply.
Can Tamburlaine limit how much I buy?

We may place reasonable purchase limits on selected wines or products where stock is particularly limited. 

We also reserve the right to cancel orders that appear to be for unauthorised resale, are placed to circumvent purchase limits, or are affected by an obvious pricing or technical error.
Why is the Sale before Black Friday?

We've moved our Sale earlier so our Members have the best possible chance of receiving their wines in plenty of time. 

Holding the Sale ahead of the traditional Black Friday weekend means you can secure your festive season party wines and Christmas gifts before the national delivery bottlenecks begin – so your order arrives when you need it, not in the thick of the peak-season rush.

What types of organic wine do you offer?

We craft a wide range of organic wines including reds, whites, rosé, sparkling and dessert varieties. You’ll also find non-alcoholic and sulphur-free options — all crafted with sustainability, purity and great taste at the heart of every bottle.
Are your wines vegan-friendly?

Most of our wines are vegan-friendly — a commitment we've upheld since 2017. Instead of animal-derived fining agents like gelatin or egg whites, we use plant-based alternatives that maintain the same high standards of quality and flavour.
Can I visit your Cellar Door at the Hunter Valley winery for a tasting?

Absolutely! We’re open seven days a week from 9 am to 5pm every day of the year except Christmas Day! Walk-ins are welcome. For groups, we recommend booking by calling us on 02 4998 4222 or use our booking form. If you book ahead, we can arrange cheese to go with your wine tasting!
Can I visit your Cellar Door in the Orange Wine Region for a tasting?

We’d love to see you! Our Cellar Door is in Millthorpe, just 20 minutes from Orange town centre. We’re open for walk-ins on Fridays from 11 to 5pm, Saturdays 11am to 5pm and we’re happy to accommodate visitors on other days with prior arrangement. Simply call us on 02 4998 4299 or book online.
