Winemaking | 2024 was a classic growing season in Orange – warm & dry with balanced canopies. Moderate extraction through a warm fermentation brings classic Grenache generosity and flesh to a cool-climate expression. 


Tasting Notes:
Colour | Bright cherry-red with a vibrant purple rim
Bouquet | Bursting with fresh raspberries, red cherry, ripe plum and a sprinkle of pink peppercorn; subtle wild strawberry and warm red-earth notes underneath
Palate | Juicy and plush yet energetic waves of raspberry and strawberry roll across the tongue, framed by silky-fine tannins and cool-climate brightness; finishes long, savoury and moreish with a lick of blood-orange freshness

Meat | Slow-roasted pork shoulder with fennel and garlic
Seafood | Char-grilled octopus with smoked paprika and lemon

Tamburlaine Organic Wine's journey to 'Contemporary Organics' began in the late '90s and continues today. With a vineyard expansion to approximately 450 hectares and an annual production of around 200,000 cases, Tamburlaine has become a significant player in the wine industry. The high altitude, cool climate conditions, and volcanic soils in Orange have solidified its position as one of Australia's top premium wine regions. The integration of biodynamic methods into their organic management has been shown to enhance soil health, which is now recognized as a key determinant of superior wine quality.
